Logged on then froze and cant get back on! help!

I logged on (eventually) and got my stuff up a bit then it suddenly foroze and i couldnt log out or anything...

So i closed it and went back on it and it doesnt load now it says connecting to update serv er and stays there for hours!!!


HELP!!!

Edit: And when i go off the screen and back (switching tabs) it goes toa white screen and doesnt dissapear....
